The Tunnel of Chaos can be found after the What Lies Below quest. The entrance is east of Varrock, under the Saradomin statue that's just south of the bar west of the saw mill. It is actually the hidden lair of the Dagon'hai. The area was released on 27 March 2007. You will need to bring a bronze pickaxe to excavate the statue.

However, the tunnels can also be accessed through a route opened during What Lies Below (the tunnel in the Saradomin statue south of the Varrock sawmill ).

The Chaos Tunnels resource dungeon is a resource dungeon found in the black demon room of the Chaos Tunnels. To enter, a Dungeoneering level of 70 and at least partial completion of The Hunt for Surok is required. Inside there are a total of 9 black demons, with one secluded on an unreachable platform on the right of the entrance.

Dagon'hai The Tunnel of Chaos can be found during and after the What Lies Below quest. The entrance is east of Varrock, under the Saradomin statue that's just south of the bar west of the Lumber Yard. A bronze pickaxe is needed to excavate the statue. If any other pickaxe is used, Anna Jones nearby will stop the player from excavating.

The Dagon'hai are an ancient Zamorakian organisation, situated in the Tunnel of Chaos. Their leader Surok Magis can be found in Varrock palace library; he plays a pivotal role in the What Lies Below quest . If players talk to the second mage in the tunnel, the mage will test their magic ability by casting a spell on them.
